This self-paced interactive learning experience introduces professionals to the Big Picture framework, and provides a fundamental understanding of its integrated nature as well as of its component tools. This program may be taken on its own or with a simulation as part of a virtual Big Picture training or as part of the Big Picture Core program, including the in-person workshop.

Big Picture Basics

The Big Picture Basics program is designed for professionals who are new to marketing, as well as for cross-functional partners to marketing. The program delivers a basic level of knowledge required to function in a junior role within the marketing organization or to be an inquisitive and sophisticated consumer of the Marketing team’s work. Junior marketers will likely progress through the Basics online course and will then proceed to the Fundamentals course and then onto the Core Workshop. Conversely, non-marketers might take the Basics course as a terminal program.

Big Picture Pricing

This powerfully pragmatic course teaches participants how to integrate pricing into the company strategy and how to avoid the major pitfalls that have gotten us intro strategic problems by way of pricing ‘solutions.’ During this two-day workshop we examine how to better address pricing within the context of company profitability and what to do in response to competitive and customer pressures to cut price. We also present a framework to improve pricing competence in the organization, linking value to price, and developing a structured approach to identifying and correcting pricing challenges, both of strategy and execution.
